Valentine's Day: Corporate Holiday

I am an Indian and Hindu So Traditionally, Valentine's Day is Not My Holiday, However From Early 2000, We Indian's Celebrate Valentine's Day, with Utmost Enthusiasm and Spread Love Across the Country, There are Moron's and Some Radical Organizations have Opposed this Holiday for Unknown Reasons, So I thought of Going in Details of Valentine's Day and History of it, There are Few Interesting Observations i think worth Sharing,

Please Note, I am Neither Against Valentine's Day Nor Against Any Idea and activity of Valentine's Day, and Strongly Believe that Any Harmless Expression of Love and Sanctity Must be Celebrated by every one,

Traditionally it is Believed that Valentine's Day was Celebrated in Memory of Martyrdom, But there is no Historic Account of that, More and More Saints Martyrdom was later Added and related and Added to Various Calenders Across the Globe, and Valentine's Day was Rather Celebrated as Feast Day, Far Different from what we today practice,

There are no Early or Middle Ages Historical Facts Available for Valentine's Day for its Current format, Valentine's Day was not Very Popular even in United States and its History Can be Tracked only in Early 1900s, Valentine's Day by one school of thought is believed to be derived from Pagan Festival Celebrated during same time, and might not have any actual association with Current Valentine's Day,

There are Several other accounts of Valentine's Day, Which all have different Opinion on its Origin, Some as Radical As 14th February Being Start of Bird Mating Season in England and Wales, It is also the fact that not All Catholic Countries Celebrate Valentine's Day,

If a Some research is to be Believed Valentine's Day Came into Prominence By Businesses for Sale of their Product, from as early as 1900, As Per Account of Historians, Eshter Howland is Considered Mother of American Valentine,  She Started mass production of Greeting Cards, in Warchester Massachusetts and thus Celebration of Valentine's Day Came to Prominence in United States,

Valentine's Day Celebration Again took a New Low in 1940s and 1950s, and Hallmark Corporation and Other Greetings Card manufacturers, Spent Endless Budget and Advertisement, to make What Valentine's Day is in today's form, Many has Named Valentine's Day as Hallmark Holiday

May Television Series, have been vocal in criticizing this, Few are Simpsons and Last Man Standing,

Even new york times editorial in as early as 1856 Criticized Valentine's Day,

Our beaux and belles are satisfied with a few miserable lines, neatly written upon fine paper, or else they purchase a printed Valentine with verses ready made, some of which are costly, and many of which are cheap and indecent.
